1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly to us, such as when you create an account, subscribe to a plan, or contact us for support. This includes your name, email address, billing information, and any other information you choose to provide. We also collect usage data automatically as you interact with the platform; on our website, only if you accept analytics cookies (see our Cookie Policy). When you turn on automatic recharge of your prepaid balance, we keep a record of that authorization (the date and time, the user who gave it and the IP address it came from) as evidence of your consent.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to provide, maintain, and improve the donefy platform; process transactions and send related information including purchase confirmations and invoices; send technical notices, updates, and support messages; and respond to comments and questions.

3. Sharing of Information

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We share personal information with service providers that store or process it on our behalf — such as payment processing, data analytics, and customer support — who may use it only to provide their services to us and never for their own marketing. We may also disclose your information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of donefy and its users. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are never shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes; see section 7. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information won’t be shared with any third parties.

4. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. The activity log of a workspace (who did what, and when) is kept for one year. You may request deletion of your account and personal data at any time from inside Donefy or by contacting us at info@donefy.io, as described in Delete your account. Each request is recorded with a due date 30 days after it is made, and our support team reviews it with you before anything is deleted; deletion is carried out by our team, not automatically.

5. Security

We take reasonable measures to help protect your personal information from loss, theft, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. Data travelling between your browser or app and donefy is encrypted using TLS. Stored files are encrypted at rest, and sensitive fields such as integration credentials and tax IDs are encrypted individually. See our Security page.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. You may also opt out of marketing communications by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email or by contacting us directly. Residents of California and the EU have additional rights under CCPA and GDPR respectively.

7. Text Messaging (SMS)

Donefy Corp offers two optional text-message programs. Account and service messages: reminders and alerts about your Donefy account or your demo request, up to 10 messages per month. Marketing messages: product news and offers, up to 4 messages per month. You join a program only by ticking its checkbox on https://donefy.io/contact, by ticking the account-messages checkbox when you create an account at https://donefy.io/create-account, or, for Donefy staff, from your profile settings. Joining is optional and not a condition of purchase. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to stop all text messages from Donefy, or HELP for help. We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Mobile information and SMS opt-in data are never shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. We share them only with service providers that deliver or store messages and data on our behalf (such as our SMS carrier and our CRM provider), who may not use them for their own marketing.
